Wow, can you believe i have owned this little shop for nearly 7 years! Doesn’t time fly when your having fun. So back in 2006 i left my party life in Manchester to concentrate on a career that really, i havent dreamed of doing, Ive always wanted to play music & nothing else. I always said, i dont care what job i do as long as i am gigging… Until i was working that much, i was too exhausted to even pick up my guitar.
I had an attic full of Vintage, things i bought from shops & couldn’t part with. My mother said “Lucy this vintage in the attic is becoming a joke” We used to visit Hebden Bridge a lot & we knew of people in the “mill in the square” so we asked for some space and i managed to fit in comfortably with the amazing Dorothy Rumble (a fabulous seamstress!) I had 1 rail of stock, barely enough to make a living off but i was much happier than i was before. 1 rail became 2, 3 became 4 & now we have 7 rails!
I feel like this shop is a part of me & without it, i don’t know where i would be. I am now getting back into my music & feeling better than ever.
So, i just want to thank all my amazing customers from far & wide. for all the laughs and giggles, its been amazing & i hope to have many more years with you.
